Avior Earn Terms

Last updated: July 18, 2026

These terms govern Avior Earn (“Earn”), a feature that lets you allocate stablecoins from your self-custodial Avior wallet to third-party decentralised-finance (DeFi) protocols in order to seek a variable yield. Earn is a technology interface: Avior does not take custody of your funds, does not operate the underlying protocols, and does not itself pay you yield.

1. Not a deposit, not insured

Earn is not a bank account, savings account, or deposit, and your Earn balance is not electronic money. Funds allocated to Earn are not protected by the FDIC, the FSCS, or any other deposit-guarantee or investor-compensation scheme in any jurisdiction. Returns are not guaranteed, and you can lose some or all of the funds you allocate.

2. How Earn works

When you enable Earn, funds move from your self-custodial wallet into positions in third-party protocols. The positions belong to you and remain under the control of your wallet. Avior provides the interface, displays your positions, and facilitates deposits and withdrawals; the yield you receive is generated by the protocol, not by Avior.

3. Risks

Allocating funds to DeFi protocols involves material risks, including:

  • Smart-contract risk: a defect or exploit in the protocol's code can lead to partial or total loss.
  • Protocol and counterparty risk: the protocol, its operators, or borrowers on it may fail.
  • Stablecoin risk: a stablecoin can lose its peg, and its issuer can fail to honour redemptions.
  • Liquidity risk: withdrawals can be delayed or become temporarily impossible in stressed markets.
  • Market and regulatory risk: rates change with market conditions, and regulatory action can affect a protocol or asset.

4. Rates

Displayed rates are variable, reflect recent protocol conditions, and are not a promise of future returns. Past performance is not indicative of future results. The rate that applies to your plan is shown in the Avior app before you allocate funds.

5. No advice

Nothing in the Avior app or on our website is investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. You alone decide whether to use Earn, and you should only allocate funds you can afford to put at risk.

6. Availability and changes

Earn may not be available in every country or on every plan. We may change supported protocols, assets, or these terms, and may suspend or discontinue Earn; where reasonably possible we will give you advance notice and the opportunity to withdraw your positions.
